Azerbaijani International Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian International Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met in Istanbul on Friday. Turkish media reported that the assembly lasted one hour. No statements have been made on the outcomes of the assembly.
The ministers are in Turkey to take part within the assembly of the “3+3” regional cooperation platform, which ended within the afternoon of October 18.
After the assembly, Russian International Minister Sergey Lavrov mentioned that in the course of the assembly Russia, Iran and Turkey proposed that Armenia and Azerbaijan use the “3+3” platform to finalize the peace settlement.
