Armenia’s NSS admits guilt of Armenian border guards in 10 April shootout

Armenia’s Nationwide Safety Service (NSS) has accused Armenian border guards of violating guidelines, which led to a shootout close to the village of Nerkin Khndzoresk on April 10.

It’s reported {that a} legal case has been opened over the obvious violation of navy service guidelines by the border guards, Sputnik-Armenia reported.

In line with the company, on April 10, an enlisted serviceman of the NSS border troops, having discovered that an Armenian shepherd and his flock have been on the Azerbaijani aspect, collectively along with his fellow servicemen “determined to cross the border unauthorizedly and return the cattle thus violating the foundations of navy service.”

These actions precipitated important injury, which resulted in a gratuitous firefight and endangered the lives and well being of individuals, the report mentioned.

“On account of the incident, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Border Guard Service was wounded. Expressing remorse over the incident, the NSS took measures to make sure strict observance of service guidelines by the servicemen of the NSS border guards and to exclude related instances,” the report famous.

To remind, an Azerbaijani border guard, senior lieutenant Rovshan Mammadov, was wounded on account of taking pictures from the Armenian aspect.–
